Australian Survivor 2021 – Fantasy League Week 6

Six weeks down and we’re getting down to the pointy end of the competition, and with only seven players left, only one person in the Fantasy League has their entire team intact.

The Week 6 points have been tallied and updated, with the results listed below.

WEEK 6 POINT BREAKDOWN

Looking at the Fantasy League’s point distribution, here’s how the points laid out –

Episode 16:
For winning the Reward Challenge in a team, Gerald, Wai, Dani, Laura and Flick received 1 point.
For winning the Immunity Challenge, Andrew picked up 3 points.
Flick played a hidden immunity idol on Emmett, giving him 2 points.
Andrew, Hayley, George, Wai and Laura all correctly voted out Gerald, and received 1 point.

Episode 17:
In a twist, five people earned Individual Immunity and the 3 points that goes with it, those people were: Andrew, Hayley, Emmett, Flick and George.
George secretly found a hidden immunity idol at Tribal Council, giving him 1 point.
George then played his idol on Cara, giving her 2 points.
Cara was then the only person to vote correctly for Laura, and thus earned a further 1 point.

Episode 18:
For winning the Individual Reward Challenge, Dani received 2 points.
Hayley won the Immunity Challenge, and added 3 points to her total.
Cara found a hidden immunity idol and received 1 point for doing so.
At Tribal Council, George, Wai, Cara and Hayley correctly voted for Emmett, earning 1 point.

Here’s how the points were broken down between the 24 Australian Survivor players.

The point leader, Emmett, has seen his elimination and thus ends the competition with 44 points (possibly 45 if he votes for the Sole Survivor). Interestingly, Emmett received at least one point in every single episode this season, except his elimination episode. Nobody else has reached into the 40’s of the competition, the closest being Andrew who sits at 36 and is the new leader among those players still in the game. Dani and George have 35, only one point behind first place. Hayley and Wai follow on 33 and 31, respectively. Flick and Cara share last place, but are only on 30 and not far at all.

WEEK 6 STANDINGS

Here are the standings for all 105 Fantasy League entrants.

Standings may be difficult to read on a mobile phone, so please use the Zoom function or switch to a Tablet or Desktop for better viewing.

Our top three has remained together, with Jonathan on 143, extending his lead by six points over new 2nd place Ryan Cundall on 137, with Rachel Solomon on 135 and in 3rd. All three took a big hit with Emmett’s departure, and with this week over, only one entrant still has a full team of four players (Dani, Flick, George and Hayley), with Fletcher O’Neill sitting at =4th on 133 points, and a potential threat to take the lead.

Everyone else has lost at least one player from their team, with nine people now out of the competition entirely. Still sitting at the bottom and bringing up the rear is Tanya Saunders on a lowly 54 points. Luckily, she’s one point behind Brendan Pratt who has nobody left in the game, which means Tanya is set to takeover him if Hayley can earn at least two more points.

Only two weeks remain if we see the usual schedule of 24 episodes and 10 doesn’t drop back to two episodes a week, it’s not too much longer before we reach the end of the game, and thus the Fantasy League.

Look for your name to see where you stand so far in the competition. And remember, anything can happen between now and finale night!
