Survivor: Island of the Idols Draft – Week 3

Split votes and another trip to the Island of the Idols. Week 3 of Survivor didn’t disappoint, and our team of drafters were either hit or miss this week. Let’s see the break down.

This season, I am joined by three former Survivor contestants to draft five players between us. They are: Carolyn Rivera, Survivor: Worlds Apart Co Runner-Up; Jessica Lewis, Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X Contestant; and Bret LaBelle, Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X & The Amazing Race 31 Contestant.

Here are the current standings after Week 3:

With another combined Reward and Immunity Challenge, Vokai saw a second win, here’s how the points were distributed: Carolyn grabbed 16 points for her two Vokai tribe members. Jessica also picked up 16 for her two Vokai tribe members. I saw a big claim with 32 points for my four Vokai tribe members. And Bret only grabbed 8 points for his sole Vokai tribe member, Janet.

No idols were found outside of the Island of the Idols, but Vince saw some big point opportunities for Carolyn when he paid a visit to Rob and Sandra. After accepting their challenge to sneak into the Vokai camp and retrieve fire, Vince gained a total of 7 points for visiting the Island, winning the challenge, and having an idol given to him for succeeding.

It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows for Vince as he was subsequently voted out of Lairo, with an idol, removing all of the points he gained and then some, a total of 10 from Carolyn’s tally.

The point system used for the draft is as follows.

This draft will be updated weekly as the season progresses.
