Australian Survivor 2019 Draft – Week 9

Who won the battle between player and fan in the draft for Australian Survivor season 4? Let’s see how finale week set the final scores in place!

For this season, Sharn Coombes, Runner-Up of the 2018 season of Australian Survivor, has agreed to join me in drafting the cast of the 2019 season of Australian Survivor.

Heading into finale week, I had a very slim chance of taking over Sharn to claim victory in the draft, but with Harry my only team member holding the flag, it may not have been enough to win it all.

Here are the final standings after Week 9 (Finale Week):

Yeah, bit of a landslide in the end, and it was even a triple point victory over me (104)! While Harry won Immunity in the second-to-last episode, gaining 10 points, he lost them by subsequently being voted out in the grand finale. Luke pulled Sharn’s team down 10 points by also being voted out, but with 10 points delegated to Baden for winning the Final Immunity Challenge, and a further 15 and 25 for him and Pia being the Runner-Up and Sole Survivor, it was tough to beat the already sizeable lead.

A massive victory for Sharn, and a great finish to the latest season of Australian Survivor. I really enjoyed drafting for Reality Review, and having Sharn on board for the season was awesome, thanks to Sharn for joining. I do have to say that Sole Survivor Pia was the top pick for BOTH Sharn and I, so it’s pretty awesome we both expected her to claim the title before the season even began, although a randomiser gave Sharn the ultimate winner.

The point system used for the draft is as follows.

I am also very excited to announce that drafting will return for the next season of Survivor in the U.S., Survivor: Island of the Idols. This time, FOUR of us will take on the cast to see who becomes the champion of drafting, former Survivor players Bret LaBelle, Carolyn Rivera, and Jessica Lewis will join the Reality Review family! Can’t wait to bring them on board!

Survivor: Island of the Idols premieres on Thursday, the 26th of September in Australia on 9Go! at 7:30pm!
