Australian Survivor 2019 Draft – Week 8

Well, we’ve had a good run. Janine and Harry were my heroes for so long but one had to go down soon enough. So do I have any chance of taking out Sharn? Let’s find out.

For this season, Sharn Coombes, Runner-Up of the 2018 season of Australian Survivor, has agreed to join me in drafting the cast of the 2019 season of Australian Survivor.

Sharn and I lost a player each this week, Janine and Abbey saw the door and so did any realistic possibility I snag the win. However, there’s a still a chance (I hope)! So let’s see where we currently stand.

Here are the current standings after Week 8:

So with Luke winning all the Immunities, finding an advantage, playing said advantage, and just being an all around good guy, he catapulted Sharn’s lead from me and even if Harry manages to win both individual Immunity Challenges and the game, it will unlikely be enough points to take over Sharn (including the fact she loses 20 for her voted out players). Nevertheless, Australian Survivor is full of surprises, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, Harry can also win a surprise individual Reward, or even an advantage of some sort. Probability scale looks at a big 0.01. But we must not call it over until it’s over!

The breakdown of this week saw Sharn add 15 points for advantage find and plays and 20 points for Immunity wins. However, 5 were taken off for Luke’s advantage being played against Baden, and a further 10 for Abbey’s exit. For me, well I only lost 10 since the Boost Juice Queen went out on Monday.

So will I find a way to prevail? Who’s team are you on? #TeamMatthew of #TeamSharn?

(I strongly advise you to pick #TeamSharn).

The point system used for the drafting is as follows.

This draft will be updated after Tuesday’s finale to see who took the crown for Reality Review’s first ever Reality TV Draft!

Sunday’s full recap and review is on its way (Wifi permitting), if you’re not a fan of the long read, you’ll be happy to know it’s shorter since we only had two episodes this week. Haha.
