Are comebacks on the horizon? The Exile Beach twist may have thrown a spanner in the works for the final 8 players but for me, it’s a chance to inch closer to toppling Sharn as we head into the final weeks of Australian Survivor.
For this season, Sharn Coombes, Runner-Up of the 2018 season of Australian Survivor, has agreed to join me in drafting the cast of the 2019 season of Australian Survivor.
With Sharn technically seeing three exits from her team this week, and Harry and Janine remaining and holding the flag for Team Matthew, I may just have a chance at taking this draft out. Maybe.
Here are the current standings after Week 7:
This week, surprisingly, no idols or advantages surfaced in the game, so the points relied on Reward, Immunity and Eliminations. Janine and Simon added 3 points respectively to both teams after winning the Reward Challenge in Sunday’s episode. Janine also winning Immunity brought my total earnings for this week at 13. As Daisy and Simon were voted out, 20 total points were subtracted from Sharn’s team. After Simon returned, and then was subsequently voted out again, he picked up 3 points for returning, and then lost another 10. Pia and Luke winning Immunity in Monday and Tuesday night’s episodes added back 20 points to Sharn’s team. While not much change has occurred between last week and this, I’m closer to possibly overtaking Sharn if Janine and Harry stay in the game past Week 8, and maybe even grab an Immunity win. We can only pray at this point.
