After three massive episodes of Australian Survivor, who gained a sizeable lead in the draft between former player Sharn and myself? Read on to find out!
For this season, Sharn Coombes, Runner-Up of the 2018 season of Australian Survivor, has agreed to join me in drafting the cast of the 2019 season of Australian Survivor.
This week saw the Contenders win four out of six challenges, three of which being immunity. As well as three idols being found across both tribes. The results have been tallied…
Here are the current standings after Week 2:

The idol breakdown was quite complicated, but the appropriate results were given out. Luke and David found an idol together in Episode 3, therefore they both receive points despite Luke taking possession of said idol. Although Janine found the Contenders idol, it still counts, and she picked up points in Episode 4. Shaun found the Champions idol in Episode 5, and although Daisy was present, she did not assist in finding the idol, so only Shaun receives the points. Even after the idol switch in Episode 5, as David did not find the idol, he does not receive extra points nor does Shaun for being granted a fake idol. Idol exchanges are not acknowledged on this draft’s point system, only findings and plays.
The Contenders picked up a total of 18 points each across all three episodes for the four challenge wins, and as I hold significantly more Contenders than Sharn, I managed to secure a sizeable lead. It’s safe to say the Champions need to start winning immunity if Sharn wants to stay close early on. Nova and Steven also got the boot, taking my total number of Champions to 2, with Sharn firmly holding 6 after Susie’s elimination.
The point system used for the drafting is as follows.

This draft will be updated weekly as the season progresses.

Doing well, Matthew! I think the champions my make I comeback soon, but contenders will probably gain control after that with a little will power.
